Queenhithe Dock
Queenhithe Dock is right in front of Queens Quay and is said to be the only remaining Anglo Saxon dock in the world.
The Queenhithe mosaic reflects the key events and personalities that built, used and lived around Queenhithe- this is in the form of a 30m long timeline mosaic on the wall of the Dock, creating a durable record of the heritage we find and a destination for the many visitors that flock along the river. The mosaic is on your right as you walk down Queenhithe towards the river.

The detail below focuses on the flotilla of 670 boats which passed Queens Quay as part of the celebrations of the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II on 3 June 2012.
